In Serbia, every day 5.000 tons of waste ends up on landfills! We do not wish to leave behind monuments like these! Lets recycle together!
Bring 30 plastic bottles or 30 cans or 3 kg of waste paper at Nikole Pasica Square, and You will receive valuable gifts of ecological campaign “Watch out garbage!”
This environmental event at Nikole Pasica Square is also announcing the beginning of the campaign “Watch out garbage!” launched by the Green initiative to raise awareness about the importance of the primary selection and recycling, and increase citizens’ and recycling businesses participation in collection of recyclable materials. The campaign is a part of the Green initiative aimed to stimulation of primary selection waste on local and national level, which is realized in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and with funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Celebration the World Environment Day, Green Initiative is organizing together with the Agency for European integration and cooperation with associations of City of Belgrade, and in cooperation with the Ekostar pak, and it will include:
11 am Eenvironmental performance preschool “Kraljica Marija” (Municipality Stari Grad and POD Theatre)
11.15 am Environmental performance “CEV” (Association “Cirkusfera”)
11.30 Award of prizes from the contest “Reciklarnica Online” (The European Movement in Serbia)
11.00 am to 14.00 pm Stand for collection of waste (paper, plastic, PET)
